Welcome to my site. Click on the names in the title bar above or on the coloured words to find your way around.
On my website you can find information about my books, plays, songs and musicals.
As well as writing on my own (or with a composer, in the case of songs and musicals), I write with groups of people in schools, youth theatres and in other community settings and you can also find out about this side of my work.
I spent ten years working as a potter. I haven't made any pots recently, but I'd like to get back to it when I have the time. It's very different from writing. Writing takes place in your head, whereas pottery takes place in your hands. Like a lot of my written work, my ceramics tended to be very playful.
For relaxtion I go sailing, something I've been doing ever since I was a child. I love the sea and, fortunately, so do my wife and daughter. We are lucky enough to have a small boat, called Pipsqueak, that we keep on the South Devon coast. I also sing with a choir and play the violin - neither of which I do very well but that doesn't matter because I only do those things for fun.
Do use the contact form if you have questions about any aspect of my work.
